After many visits to India, Eglė and Darius Kauneckai decided to follow their passion for Ayurveda by opening the Ayurveda center SHANTI in 2005. Their family leads a healthy and balanced life style, and in turn spread the teachings of Ayurveda in Lithuania as living examples how to enjoy life following the wisdom of Ayurveda science.
Darius Kauneckas is a professional masseuse, a graduate of the Moscow Manual Therapy Academy. He learned his Ayurveda techniques in Delhi, India at the JIVA Institute, and further advanced his massage skills in various Kerala Ayurvedic centers under the supervision of Ayurveda massage professionals.
Eglė and Darius selected a group of 20 Ayurveda specialists in Vilnius who have gained their knowledge from Ayurveda Universities and colleges in India. As an institution, we constantly seek knowledge by travelling back to India to attend special courses and workshops. Ayurveda is our Life and we would like to share this Harmony with our clients.
